Glogster
is a Web 2.0 app that allows you to create an interactive poster. It is an
effective way of displaying information on a topic. For example in my
"Glog" is information on the foundation phase. It has a video link to
a forest school setting which is a part of the foundation phase. I also
included some of the topics of the foundation phase. In an educational setting
you could use Glogster to allow pupils to create posters on a topic that has
been taught, and show their posters to other pupils in the classroom. It is a
very effective way of allowing children in the 21st century to create poster as
it involves more technology in place of pen and paper and is also something
they would enjoy using. It would also be useful to use as a teacher to
introduce a new topic through creating a “Glog” on the new topic and displaying
it on an interactive whiteboard or screen. I believe this would be an effective
way of helping the students to remember facts and topics more easily and also
could be used by the students as a way of revising.
